Jennifer Avery, MA ABD
SVP Shopper Insights
With background in both Anthropology and Psychology, Jennifer brings experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies in both naturalistic and facility settings. Having joined SmartRevenue in 2004, she currently leads the design and execution of large scale shopper studies and the translation of data into strategic, shopper centric insights and recommendations. Under a Presidential Fellowship, Jennifer earned an MA in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida and is currently completing her doctoral degree. Her research interests include globalization, elite populations, and economic development, and she has conducted research in Costa Rica and in urban settings in the United Sates. Prior to joining SmartRevenue, Jennifer taught Anthropology courses at the university level and worked as a researcher and data analyst at the Center for Urban Transportation Research in Tampa, Fl. |
Andrea Durning
VP Research & Online Services
Since 2004, Andrea has brought extensive statistical consulting, data analysis, sampling, methodological and online research experience to SmartRevenue, as well as client and project management expertise. Andrea was formerly a Business Development Director at SPSS and an Account Director at AOL/Time Warner, where she developed her expertise in online sampling methodologies. She was also a Senior Methodologist at Statistics Canada, where she developed comprehensive weighting and variance estimation models, as well as designing and conducting numerous social and economic surveys. She holds a B.S. in Statistics from Dalhousie University. |
David Greenawalt, PhD
Director, Research
Specializing in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, David has significant experience in all phases of research including design, fielding, and analysis. Dr. Greenawalt earned his PhD in Anthropology from the University of Georgia, where his dissertation focused on the relationship between marginal socioeconomic status and maritime resource use practices in an artisanal fishing society in Honduras. |
Mike Kozloski, ABD
Project Director
Michael provides expertise in conducting community and nationwide surveys segmentation to provide analytical insights including simple-to-complex model building. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago in sociology, studying in the areas of demography and epidemiology. He holds an MA in sociology from the University of Chicago and an MS in statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison |
Clare Studwell
Director, Research
Clare’s repertoire includes design, execution, and analytical responsibilities across a variety of qualitative and quantitative research types, such as ideation, concept testing, name testing, A&U, and segmentation for a range of clients and industries. Clare has also worked at Directive Analytics and W5, both boutique market research firms, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middlebury College. |
