John Dranow
Founder & CEO

John was named New England Small Business Administration (SBA) “Person of the Year” and first runner-up in USA. He has extensive experience in retail consulting and research, food service, and career education. He is the co-founder of the New England Culinary Institute, has taught and administered at University of Iowa, University of Missouri, Radford College, and Goddard College, and is the former chair of American Institute of Food and Wine. John received his MA and MFA from the University of Iowa. He is the recipient of a NEA grant and is a published author.

Dard Neuman, Ph.D.
President of Insights

Dard combines academic excellence and industry expertise to design SmartRevenue's quantitative ethnography research, guide research analysis, and provide clients with actionable insights.  He has been part of the SmartRevenue team from its beginnings,  ensuring that project operations, management, and deliverables are of the highest quality.  Dard received his Ph.D. in cultural anthropology, where he completed doctoral research as a Fulbright-Hays scholar.  Dard has also gained distinction as a professor; he served on the Columbia University core curriculum and received the teaching award for excellence.

Candace Adams
President of Global Retail Strategy

Candace is a recognized industry leader, who brings her retail and manufacturing experience and expertise to guide SmartRevenue’s global retail strategy. Candace most recently served as Senior Director for Customer In-store Experience Insights at Walmart, where she shaped Walmart’s knowledge of the changes needed to improve the customer experience. Her previous work experience includes two years at Research International prior to joining Walmart and 10 years at Philip Morris (Altria), where she generated mathematical models of behavior. Candace holds a doctorate in Research & Statistics from Virginia Tech, earned her Master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology and Program Evaluation from Radford University, and has a BS in Political Science and Sociology from University of Maryland.

Adam Mustafa
Chief Financial Officer

Has a breadth of experience working in corporate finance. Most recently, he was the CFO for Secure Symbology, and prior to that, Adam worked as senior consultant at Deloitte & Touche. Adam also held several positions on Wall Street. Adam has an MBA from Georgetown and a BS in Finance from Syracuse.

Kaye Young
SVP Category Reinvention And Retail Leadership

Kaye is a veteran of sales and marketing. Uncovering shopper attitudes and behaviors towards categories and brands at retailers, selling against the data, and building strong relationships with both national accounts and retail businesses are her key strengths, making her a leader of SmartRevenue's integrated insights, strategies, and solutions. Kaye has worked extensively with Walmart and Sam’s Club in numerous categories to create complete merchandising plans. Her areas of expertise include Category Management - assortment, supply, pricing and promotion improvements; Retail Link analysis; original shopper research and analysis; point of sale and shelving improvements; and brand repositioning to leverage strategies. Kaye’s previous positions within key companies like of J&J, Guinness, RPG (co-owner) and Kantar Retail as well as owning her own brokerage business afford Kaye unparalleled experience in the retail and CPG domains.

Graham Sampson
CEO, AcWire Technologies

Graham is a life long entrepreneur who has successfully built, sold and merged a number of businesses across a wide array of industries. Given his passion for using leading-edge technologies to create or improve processes and outcomes, Graham has used his laser-like focus upon the customer and user experience to create a method for creating and performing surveys in a manner that insures a positive experience for the service provider and ultimately for the survey recipient customer.  Graham has garnered many prestigious rewards, including: Inc. Magazine's Inc. 500 Company, from 1996 to 1999; NJ Business News' New Jersey's Finest Company Award, 1996 to 1999; Ernst & Young Business Services Entrepreneur of the Year 1997; the Massachusetts Mutual United States Commerce & Industry Award, 1998; and induction into the New Jersey Business Hall of Fame in 1999. Most recently, Graham received the NJBiz Magazine sponsored, New Jersey's 2007 Emerging Business of the Year Award.

Ned Kandel
Executive Producer, SmartRevenue Video

Ned guides the development and execution of SMARTREVENUE's video product. He is a 30 year veteran of the film and television industry, who has produced numerous memorable and influential television series, documentaries, and films. Ned is the recipient of the Emmy and Ace awards, and has been nominated for the Academy Oscar, ACE, and NAACP awards. In addition to his work as an executive producer, Ned has been the General Manager of WNYE-25 and an executive at CBS MGM Home Video. Ned received his MBA in Marketing & Finance from Columbia University and BS in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University.
